I have a sort of distant love/hate-relationship with Interactive Fiction (once known as text adventures) in that I can appreciate what they’re trying to do with character interaction and dynamic storytelling, but I *hate* reading on computer screens – especially in high-contrast – because it literally hurts my eyes*. Many many things going on. Moved to a new apartment, somewhat bigger and closer to work, going to Widescreen Games again for 3 months to help out with some animating on behalf of Arkane. Also I’ve done a lot of work on my film. More about that later.

Finally finished watching all the Warren Spector lectures and interviews mentioned earlier. For me the highlights were the intro with Spector himself, Harvey Smith, Marc LeBlanc, Seamus Blackley and Richard Hilleman, but really every single one made fascinating viewing. [...]
