toolHow to make motion blurtool

A while ago, Jaws wanted to hear my opinion on a thing he had done with his level "danger zone"; All movement left a transparent trace behind which then dissappeared... like motion blur that occurs in film. It looked really cool.
That's why I decided to make a tutorial about it...

tool1) Load the level you want to apply motion blur to.

tool2) Go to layer 8 and make sure it's not empty. (If it is, put some tiles in there).

tool3) Then, make the tiles that are used in layer 8 transparent.(right click on a tile and select "type" - "translucent").

tool4) Save & Run and be amazed...

Movement now leaves a short trace.

This effect occurs because if you have nothing in the background layer, movement leaves an ugly trace behind itself. If you have a transparent background layer, this trace is erased shortly after it appears. And unlike what happens with no background at all, this looks very cool...
