Music tips
These are just some things that you should think of when making, or
choosing music:
- Music is there to support what you see...not the other way around.
Remember...you're making a level, not a music video.
- Don't make music annoying. It's supposed to add to the fun, not to
torture the player.
- If you can't make your own music...try finding some on the internet.
- If you use someone else's music, don't forget to mention his/her
copyright. You don't wanna get sued.
- If you're really serious about the music, you might wanna try to
really capture the mood or style of your level with the music.
The tileset and the lighting usually set the style for a level.
You can adjust your music to that.
- If you'd like to make music, but don't know how to...check out the
"How to make music" tutorial (in case you didn't notice it).
- Listen to other music to get some inspiration for your's.
- Download "the Tracker's Handbook" from United Trackers and read it. ^_-
